Movemindfully for Body, Mind, and Heart

These past few years have been challenging for all of us and especially our youth. During this experiential workshop participants will explore simple Breathe Move Rest practices for balancing energy levels, managing stress/anxiety, and handling big emotions. Students walk away with a tool kit to use both at home and school.

Service Project

Kristin Faber, the Administrative and Communications Coordinator at Vail House in St. Paul, will be leading this year’s service project. For the Minneapolis event, we have three meaningful service projects planned:

• Fleece Tie Blankets for Northwoods Humane Society: The majority of our dancers will create fleece tie blankets to comfort dogs and cats at the Northwoods Humane Society. Learn more about their mission at northwoodshs.org.

• Feel Better Packs for Mental Wellness Innovations: Some of our older dancers will assemble Feel Better Packs to support the work of Mental Wellness Innovations. Visit mentalwellnessinnovations.org for more information.

• Decorated Valentine’s Day Bags for Meals on Wheels: Our youngest dancers will decorate Valentine’s Day bags for Meals on Wheels participants in Ramsey County. Details about their organization can be found at mealsonwheels-rc.org.
